I am super sorry this took so long, but real life has kind of exploded for your lovely mods. Faith is working super-long hours and Bookwrm is starting a new business, so we've gotten behind.

From the looks of everyone's comments on the check in, most people could use a little extra time. Therefore, we are pushing the due date for drafts to November 30th, with posting to start December 7th.

As we get closer to the 30th, there will be a reminder post with all the submission details.

Until then, my lovelies, write on!

So, the check-in date was supposed to be on Wednesday, but real life went a bit sideways on your mods. Therefore, you have until Sunday, the 19th, to comment on this post and let us know where you are on your fic. And by "where you are", we mean if you are done, mostly done, pulling an all-weekender or dropping out. Remember, drafts are not due yet; this is just to give us an idea of if people are doing okay, if we need to bump back the timeline a bit, or if we are not going to have as many fics as anticipated.

So hit us up with an update!

Okay, kids, I just updated the support comm. If you were a member last round, you still have access. If you are new, please check your community invitations page in your profile and accept the invitation.

03 September 2014 @ 08:39 am
Sign-ups for this round have officially closed. By my count, we have 17 fantastical fics to look forward to! If you signed up, please take a moment to check the sign up post and be sure I have you on the list. If not, hit us up with a quick comment on THIS POST so I can see where I biffed it.

We will get invitations to the support comm out shortly. If you are not an author, but would like an invite to the support comm because you want to be a cheerleader for the authors, drop us a comment here and we'll add you to the list.

Good luck and remember, we're all counting on you. :)

Your insane and loving mods,

Hi kids! Auntie Faith is helping a friend do grown-up stuff this weekend (but she has been promised Stromboli and wine), so her internet will be spotty at best. She will be back up and running on Sunday night, so if you don't get a response to a claim on the sign-up post right away, DON'T WORRY! Auntie Book may get a chance to check and update and, if not, Auntie Faith will honor the first come, first serve if two people go for the same film. I'll admit that I'd like to see trial by combat for it, but we prefer not to shed blood here. That's a whole other fandom...

Production on Screening 7 is ready for your consideration! Following is a list of movies we've put together to help stir the creative juices. You can pick one of these movies or choose your own. This list is just for suggestion. If you prefer to use a movie not on the list, please provide a link to a synopsis of the movie in your claiming comment. We'll confirm your choice in a reply and add it to the list.

Claiming is easy! All you have to do is comment on this post and tell us what movie you want to do!!

Claiming will be open from today (August 25) until September 2 and claims are first come, first served, so get your claims in soon!

Are you ready? Can feel the tingle of awesome in the air?!?!? Fantastic!

Because faithharkness is lazy, we decided to streamline this a bit this round. Therefore, this post is going to have the schedule, the link to the FAQs and all the other wonderful things you’ll need to know in order to sign up for the unique madness that is reel_torchwood. Following this post will be the sign-up post, wherein you can stake your claim on your film.

Okay, that’s it! Claiming post will be up soon, just as soon as we get a couple of pimping posts up!

We’d like to thank the Academy,

Well, not so much here as on their way. (Notice how I avoided using the word "coming" because this is a fandom with Jack Hark--damn it. Never mind.)

My lovely fellow mod, bookwrm89, and I would like to announce there WILL BE a seventh screening round of Reel Torchwood airing this fall!!! (And we'll update last round's filmography soon. Because I am lazy and totally biffed on that last round.)

Now that you're all done flailing about like Kermit the Frog, I'm going to tell you this post is just a tease (Come on! It says "Harkness" right on the tin! Of course I'm posting a tease!). We're going to start asking permission to pimp the comm from other communities this week and we'll do an info/FAQ post the beginning of next week (or this weekend, depending on how the finale of True Blood wrecks me). We anticipate sign-ups closing on August 31st, and the rest of the timeline will be in the official info post. So put your thinking caps on and/or start bingeing those films you've been waiting to do!

What? What was that? A little more? Okay...because yours truly was hopped up on cold meds (ain't no ConFlu like a San Diego ConFlu) and watched a goofy horror-comedy (no, I'm not telling you which one, it's my prompt), I suggested to bookwrm89that we give this round a holiday theme. And because she loves watching me spin into insanity, she agreed. Now, you don't HAVE to do a holiday-themed movie, but we're kicking around ideas for a special treat if you do choose a holiday movie. And we are quite liberal with our definition of "holiday".

And that's all I'm allowed to tell you!! But we'll do a super-awesome (Everything is Awesome!--you're welcome for that earworm) post with all the info you could possibly need really soon!

Much love,

Characters: Ianto Jones, Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Owen Harper, Rhys Williams, Toshiko Sato, Yvonne Hartman, John Hart, Lisa Hallett

Those with high scores are recruited into the world's top secret paramilitary academies, with only the best being chosen for Torchwood. Some call them scoundrels and seductresses; some call them spies, the naive call them innocent. They call themselves T.I.E.S.
A/N: Sorry this is a little late. Real life and stroppy internet connections thwarted my posting attempts.

Sorry it's so late. I actually wrote it about two years ago, and then when it came to posting it I couldn't find the blasted thing. It's here now, in its entirety. It is definitely advisable to read the first two parts first.

Title: The Clash of Worlds

Beta: So many people and so long ago.
Rating: T
Word Count: 63,195 total

Author’s Note: I can't believe it's finally finished, but nor can I believe how long it took me to post it. I wonder what else is sitting on my harddrive gathering dust...
